I finished this twin-size yellow "churn dash" quilt just before our Spokane County Interstate Fair (September, 2004), where it won a blue ribbon in the hand-quilting category. This quilt had been a long time in the planning, ever since a similar quilt, made by my grandmother years earlier, had been damaged by an electric heater.
